Rules & Code of Conduct

To keep askpc.cc high quality, we strictly enforce simple rules.

1. Zero Toxicity Policy ("No RTFM")

Every expert was once a beginner. Responding with "RTFM", "Google it", or mockingly pointing out basic mistakes is prohibited. Explain the solution or move on.

2. Signal-to-Noise Ratio

Format your code blocks, provide logs, hardware specs, and system information when asking questions on the forum.

3. No Self-Promotion / Spam

Commercial advertising, referral links, and SEO spam will lead to instant permanent ban.

4. Off-topic

On the AskPC website, we only allow discussions about computer-related topics. Anything else is off-limits here. For off-topic conversations, we have our own Matrix Space and Discord server.
